Highlights
The 16th edition of the International Workshop on Modeling the Ocean (IWMO 2026) concluded successfully in Palma, Mallorca (2–5 June 2026). For the first time in Spain, this international symposium brought together more than 60 specialists in ocean modelling from 14 countries to discuss the latest advances and emerging trends in the field.
Outstanding Young Scientist Awards (OYSA)
As is traditional at IWMO, the three first Outstanding Young Scientist Awards (OYSA) were presented to recognise the work of early career researchers.
